Hero Fiennes Tiffin Career:
Fiennes Tiffin made his cinematic debut as Spartak in the 2008 drama film “Bigga than Ben.” He then secured the role of “11-year-old Tom Riddle” in “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” after competing against thousands of young actors for the part. While some speculated that his family connections aided his casting, director David Yates emphasized Fiennes Tiffin’s talent for capturing the darker aspects of the character. Although Fiennes Tiffin’s uncle, Ralph Fiennes, portrayed Voldemort in the series, Yates noted that the resemblance between the two was a contributing factor but not the sole reason for his selection. Yates praised Fiennes Tiffin’s focused and disciplined approach to the role, highlighting his ability to embody the character’s complex and haunting qualities on screen.
After his role in Harry Potter, Fiennes Tiffin ventured into British television with appearances in Private Peaceful (2012) and Safe (2018) and starred in the independent film Possession with Intent to Supply (2016). In 2019, he landed the lead role of Hardin Scott in the film After, spawning four sequels: After We Collided (2020), After We Fell (2021), After Ever Happy (2022), and After Everything (2023), all filmed simultaneously in Bulgaria due to COVID-19. Additionally, he appeared in The Silencing (2020), First Love (2022), and The Woman King (2023).
His upcoming projects include The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, slated for release in April 2024, and diverse roles in The Climb, Fackham Hall, Mr. Smith, and Above the Below.
