About Chhaava Movie:
Chhaava is an upcoming Hindi historical drama film starring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Divya Dutta and Ashutosh Rana. The film is based on the life of Maratha emperor Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The film marks the first collaboration between Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna. It is also the second collaboration of the director Laxman Utekar and Kaushal after Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023).
The film’s score and soundtrack are composed by A. R. Rahman.
Pre-production started in April 2023, with principal photography running from October 2023 to May 2024. The film’s teaser was first shown during the preview screenings of Stree 2 and later released on social media on August 19, 2024, coinciding with Raksha Bandhan.
Chhaava is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 6, 2024.
