RM (Kim Namjoon) was the first member to enter BTS. More correctly Bang PD decided to make BTS after meeting RM. He had been a trainee for more than 3 years.
He is the fourth oldest and the fourth youngest in the band. That makes him the middle member of the band.
Before his debut, he was an underground rapper.
He was born in Seoul (Sangdo-dong) then he moved to Ilsan, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea when he was 4.
RM says that he was a fat child. It is quite hard to believe, but by his words, he was so fat that he had a round chin.
He has a younger sister (Kim Kyung Mi) who is the same age as Jungkook.
He is 26 years old in the US age and 28 years old in the Korean age (2021).
