'The Boys Season 4' Trailer Teases Epic Showdown Between Supes and Humans

The fourth season of the most anticipated Amazon Prime Video series The Boys has unveiled its explosive new trailer, setting the stage for an all-out war between superheroes and the ordinary people they are meant to protect.

The trailer opens with a somber reflection from Karl Urban’s character Billy Butcher, who admits he has “made a mess” of his life and now only has a limited time left. Butcher rallies his team, including Hughie (Jack Quaid), Starlight (Erin Moriarty), and others, warning them that they will have to do “terrible things” and can no longer be “beloved celebrities” but must instead become “wrathful gods” to save the world.

The stakes have never been higher, as Victoria Neuman (Claudia Doumit) edges closer to the Oval Office under the control of the unhinged Homelander (Antony Starr), who is tightening his grip on The Seven and the entire supe community. Butcher, with only months left to live, has lost his position as the leader of The Boys and the trust of his team due to his deception.

The trailer also teases a crossover with the upcoming spinoff series Gen V, as characters Cate Dunlap (Maddie Phillips) and Sam Riordan (Asa Germann) make an appearance, hinting at the interconnected nature of the expanding The Boys universe.

The Boys Season 4 premieres on June 13 with the first three episodes, followed by a new episode each week until the finale on July 18. Viewers are in for a wild ride as the series continues to push the boundaries of the superhero genre.
