About Avengers: Secret Wars Movie:

Avengers: Secret Wars is an upcoming American science fiction action adventure film produced by Kevin Feige. The film is scheduled to be released on May 7, 2027.

At San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022, Marvel Studios announced “Avengers: Secret Wars.” In October, it was revealed that Michael Waldron would be writing the screenplay. Jonathan Majors was initially attached to reprise his role as Kang, but he was fired in December 2023.

The film was originally set to release 6 months after Avengers: The Kang Dynasty (2026) on November 7th, 2025 but was delayed from October 11, 2022, to May 1, 2026. This puts the fifth and sixth Avengers films a year apart, much like how Avengers: Infinity War (2018) & Avengers: Endgame (2019) were.

It will be the 46th film overall in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which marks the final installment of Phase 6 and concludes The Multiverse Saga.
