About Avengers: The Kang Dynasty Movie:
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is an upcoming science fiction action adventure film directed by Shawn Levy, from a screenplay by Michael Waldron.
At San Diego Comic-Con in July 2022, Marvel Studios announced Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. Shortly after, Destin Daniel Cretton was confirmed as the director. In September, it was revealed that Jeff Loveness, writer of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023), would be writing the screenplay. However, Cretton exited the film in November 2023, when Michael Waldron was hired to replace Loveness as writer.
Filming is set to take place in London, England, UK, and was originally expected to begin in early 2024, prior to its delays and Majors’s firing.
Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is scheduled to be released on May 1, 2026.
