About Enthiran Movie:

Based on the book series The Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer, it is the sequel to the 2020 film Enola Holmes.

In April 2021, Enola Holmes 2 was reportedly in development. In May 2021, the project was officially confirmed by Netflix

Production and filming began in the Autumn 2021. Scenes were filmed in Hull in October 2021, and Cavill wrapped filming that November. Filming concluded on January 7, 2022.

Millie Bobby Brown was reportedly paid $10 million for her role, making it the highest upfront salary for an actor under the age of 20 as of the release of the film.

Sam Claflin could not reprise his role as Mycroft Holmes due to scheduling conflicts. Director Harry Bradbeer has said they really wanted him back for the sequel, and hope to have him back if there’s going to be a third installment.

Enola Holmes 2 was released on November 4, 2022, by Netflix. The film received positive reviews from critics and topped Netflix’s viewership charts in 93 countries.

Enola Holmes 2 debuted at number 1 on Netflix’s global weekly viewership with 64.08 million hours streamed across 93 countries. The next week the film stayed at the number 1 spot with 62.860 million hours. Interest in the first film Enola Holmes, generated another 9.64 million hours viewed for the first week of the sequel release.

In November 2023, Netflix revealed that a screenplay for a third Enola Holmes film is in the works. Scott Stuber, who recently sat down with Collider’s Steve Weintraub, said the streamer is very proud of their “homegrown star” Millie Bobby Brown, and they are excited to continue telling Enola’s story with her. The film will most likely follow the Enola Holmes Mysteries novel The Case of the Bizarre Bouquets, published in 2008.
