Storyline:
Anna (Jessie Buckley) and Ryan (Jeremy Allen White) have found true love. It’s been proven by a controversial new technology. There’s just one problem: Anna still isn’t sure. Then she takes a position at a love testing institute, and meets Amir (Rez Ahmed).

Principal photography commenced in Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario at the end of October 2022 and wrapped that December.
Carey Mulligan was originally cast as Anna but dropped out and was replaced by Jessie Buckley.
Fingernails had its world premiere at the 50th Telluride Film Festival on August 31, 2023. The film also screened at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival on September 12, 2023. The movie had its European premiere during the Zurich Film Festival on September 29, 2023.
