Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two is an upcoming American action-adventure thriller film starring Tom Cruise, Ving Rhames, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg, Rebecca Ferguson, Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Shea Whigham, and Pom Klementieff. All of these actors are reprising their respective roles from previous installments in the Mission: Impossible series.
Written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, the film is a direct sequel to Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One (2023), and the eighth installment in the Mission: Impossible film series. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part Two is scheduled to be released in the United States on June 28, 2024, by Paramount Pictures

- It is expected to be Tom Cruise’s final appearance in the series.
- Production on the 7th and 8th installments were planned to be filmed back to back. This changed after the 7th completed filming, due to Tom Cruise having to leave to do promotion for the Top Gun sequel.
- On January 15, 2019, the film was announced to premiere on August 5th, 2022. On April 24th, 2020 Paramount delayed the 7th & 8th films due to COVID-19, the second release date for 8 was November 4th, 2022. On April 9th, 2021 Paramount delayed the seventh film to 2022, as a result, the eighth film got a new release date of July 7th, 2023. On January 21st, 2022 the film was delayed a third time to June 28th, 2024.
