Orphan: First Kill is an American psychological horror crime movie, serving as a prequel to the 2009 film Orphan. The movie is directed by William Brent Bell, from a screenplay by David Coggeshall, and a story by David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick and Alex Mace. It stars Isabelle Fuhrman, Julia Stiles, Rossif Sutherland, and Matthew Finlan.
Originally with the working title of Esther, the project was announced in February 2020. The official title was revealed in November of that same year. It is a co-production between Paramount Players, Dark Castle Entertainment, Entertainment One, Sierra/Affinity, Eagle Vision, and Signature Entertainment.
