  • The film’s screenplay is a loose adaptation of Sofía Ros’ novel Mi casa en llamas, which deviates from the original work in primarily focusing on the protagonist’s personal transformation.
  • Filming began in the province of Alicante, with some footage shot in Cala el Xarco (Villajoyosa), also shooting in Barcelona.
  • The film made it to the 26th Málaga Film Festival’s official selection slate and was presented on 15 March 2023.
  • Toni Vall of Cinemanía rated the film 4 out of 5 stars, writing that it manages to “portrays in depth the emptiness of our world”, without being wishy-washy.
