Liko, whose partner Pokémon is Sprigatito, and Roy will encounter many characters during their journey, including a group called the Rising Volt Tacklers.

About Pokémon Horizons: The Series:

Pokémon Horizons: The Series, known in Japan as Pocket Monsters: Liko and Roy’s Departure, Pocket Monsters: The Sparkling of Terapagos, and Pocket Monsters: Terastal Debut is a new Pokémon anime series, currently airing its first season and overall twenty-sixth season. It premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo on April 14, 2023, and was further distributed by Netflix in the United States on March 7, 2024.

It is directed by Saori Den, with Daiki Tomiyasu as creative director, Tetsuo Yajima as action director, Dai Satō as script supervisor, Rei Yamazaki as character designer, Conisch as music composer, and Naotsugu Uchida and Akane Yamago replacing Ryōko Nashimoto as sound editor. Bessatsu CoroCoro Comic and Gakushu Yochien are no longer credited as publishers, and Junichi Masuda and Ken Sugimori are no longer credited as creators.

Unlike the previous series, which featured Ash Ketchum as the protagonist, the series stars two new protagonists, Liko and Roy, who team up with the Rising Volt Tacklers, a group of adventurers that explore the Pokémon world and visit various regions, including the Paldea region, which was introduced in Scarlet and Violet. As they do, they are pursued by the Explorers, a mysterious organization seeking Liko’s pendant for unknown reasons.

As the group grows increasingly nervous, sensing the involvement of an enemy they can’t see, Dot plays her trump card and contacts Iono, popular streamer and Gym Leader of Levincia City.

17	Kaiden and Hogator’s Secret Big Training!	Fri, Aug 11, 2023	Kaiden and Hogator are constantly fighting, and it really bothers Roy that they aren’t getting along. He thinks about how they might bond by battling together against Captain Pikachu.

19	Mawhip’s Truth	Fri, Aug 25, 2023	The group has arrived in the Galar region, where they decide to leave the conspicuous airship behind and travel by land to the old castle Liko’s grandmother Diana is supposed to be in. However, since the train is currently out of service, they decide to spend some time in Motostoke, where Liko and Roy head for the Battle Café alongside the Rising Volt Tacklers’ cook, Murdock. There, they encounter Mitchell, a patissier and former colleague of Murdock’s. And it seems the two have quite the history.
20	Kabu’s Battle Training	Fri, Sep 1, 2023	Liko and Roy have met Kabu, the Gym Leader of Motostoke Stadium and a native of the Hoenn region. Figuring that this means he might know something about Rayquaza, the Legendary Pokémon that’s likewise from the Hoenn region, they decide to ask him about it. Kabu is so moved by their dedication he decides to train them. It’s time for Kabu’s fire training to begin.
21	The Lonely Mibrim	Fri, Sep 8, 2023	The information they received from Kabu sends Liko, Roy and the others to the Galar Mine in search of the Black Rayquaza. On the way, they find an unconscious Hatenna, which Mollie diagnoses to be “suffering emotionally”; in other words, having been injured from constantly picking up emotions from nearby creatures. Unwilling to just leave her there, Liko decides to look after her on her own, but.
22	Clash! The Galar Mine	Fri, Sep 15, 2023	The Rising Volt Tacklers return to the Galar Mine in their search for the Black Rayquaza. As they search the area, Liko and Roy get separated from Friede, and continue deeper into the mine when they hear a mysterious cry. There, they find a group of people and Pokémon that have somehow completely lost their spirit and vigor. Meanwhile, Amethio and his Explorer companions also arrive at the mine in pursuit of Rayquaza.

37	Fuecoco, You’re Becoming a Delinquent!?	Fri, Jan 26, 2024	The Rising Volt Tacklers answer a request from an archaeologist acquaintance of Friede’s to move some rocks at an archaeological dig and head for the dig site. However, they have difficulties getting started with the work, as ferocious Krokorok and Krookodile seem to be interfering. Liko, Roy and Friede set off to investigate inside the ruins to get to the bottom of this.
38	SOS from Tandemaus?	Fri, Feb 2, 2024	Mollie is performing a medical checkup on the Pokémon as the Brave Olivine is docked after a storm, but as Liko is taking her Pokémon there for their checkup, Hatenna senses someone. Believe it or not, it turns out to be a single Tandemaus that has gotten onto the ship. Tandemaus normally operate in pairs, so it’s strange for one to be alone like this. Maybe something serious has happened?
39	Tinkatink and Its Special Hammer	Fri, Feb 9, 2024	Liko, Roy and Dot are shopping in Tetsuron Town, a town famous for its industrial products, when Dot gets separated from the other two. While going around on her own, Dot encounters a Tinkatink, a Pokémon said to pounds iron scraps together to make a hammer. And it seems the Tinkatink is interested in a certain something Dot got?
40	Farewell, Nyahoja?	Fri, Feb 16, 2024	Nyahoja accidentally injures Liko during training. Feeling ashamed with herself, she runs away from the Brave Olivine, prompting her Trainer to look for her. Will Liko find Nyahoja and assure her that attacking her was an accident?
41	Enter the Intense Mom!	Fri, Mar 1, 2024	Dot’s mother has come to the Brave Olivine and is there to pick up Dot, who was only there on a temporary basis.
42	Transform! Sea Hero, Irukaman	Fri, Mar 8, 2024	The Rising Volt Tacklers have visited the beaches of Paldea and Liko and Roy are enjoying some time off playing with the local Water-type Pokémon. Roy is amazed by Irukaman but soon finds somebody nearby who are trying to capture the transformation of Irukaman to its Hero Form that has never been captured before. Will they be able to do it?
43	A Letter of Challenge from the Explorers	Fri, Mar 15, 2024	Only 30 boxes of the famous treat “Sea Digdaman” are sold every day, and you have to stand in line for them too. However, as a thank you for helping the store manager, Liko and Roy are given some even without having to stand in line. A certain person from the Explorers was standing in line for the treats as well, though… and as they’re on their way back to the Brave Asagi, Roy notices a letter of challenge that has been stuck to Hogator’s back…?.
44	A Plan to Capture Rayquaza	Fri, Mar 22, 2024	Sango’s clue leads Friede to the Explorers’ hideout island. Liko, Roy, Friede, and Landau venture there but encounter Spinel’s trap. Can they thwart the Explorers’ plan to capture Rayquaza?
