Storyline:

Two narrative threads – one is an emerging love story between two awkward teens, Jens and Lisa, who are having sex for the first time and the other is an eventful quest of Simon the Semen and his friends to reach the golden goal, the Egg.

About Movie:

In June 2021, production for Spermageddon was scheduled to begin in the fall. By May 2022, the film was in production, and by March 2024, director Wirkola confirmed it was in post-production.

At the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, Spermageddon was marketed to local distributors by the international sales agent Charades and screened for potential buyers at the 2024 edition.

The film premiered on June 10, 2024, in the Midnight Specials section of the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, with additional screenings at:

• Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival (July 2024)
• Fantastic Fest (September 2024)
• Sitges Film Festival (October 2024)

SF Studios will release Spermageddon in the Nordics on January 10, 2025. Distribution rights have also been secured for the Adriatics, Austria, the Baltics, Bulgaria, CIS, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, and Thailand.
