Storyline:

Almut (Florence Pugh) and Tobias (Andrew Garfield) are brought together in a surprise encounter that changes their lives. Through snapshots of their life together — falling for each other, building a home, becoming a family — a difficult truth is revealed that rocks its foundation. Principal photography began in London in April 2023, with the cast and crew spotted in Herne Hill. Later that month, filming continued at a Co-op in Blackfen.

We Live in Time premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 6, 2024, and was released in the United States on October 11, 2024, by A24.

It is scheduled for release in the United Kingdom by StudioCanal on January 1, 2025. The film received generally positive reviews from critics, particularly for the performances, and has grossed $9.1 million.
