Neetesh Jung Kunwar comes from a rich musical lineage, with his father being associated with the band Prism. Growing up in such a musical environment, he was drawn to music from a tender age. His early years were filled with visits to his father’s jam room and witnessing the vibrant musical atmosphere, which sparked his inspiration.

At the age of six, Neetesh picked up the guitar, and by the time he was 8 or 9, he had already begun writing songs. His first composition, “Nakhanu Hai Khaini”, although unpublished, marked the beginning of his journey as a songwriter.

During his school days, Neetesh actively participated in various singing competitions. Notably, he and his team were selected for the ICMC singing competition organized by KCM, where he also penned a song for the event.

Despite his passion for music, Neetesh initially hesitated to pursue a career in music due to uncertainties about the future and concerns for his family’s well-being. Consequently, he opted for a corporate job at an Auto Company, where he worked for about two years. However, he soon realized that his heart wasn’t in the job, and his passion for music overshadowed his dedication to his corporate role.

Ultimately, Neetesh made the bold decision to leave his job and wholeheartedly pursue his musical aspirations. Teaming up with Channel Arbitrary, he covered numerous popular songs and performed in various shows, honing his craft along the way.

In 2016, Neetesh took a significant step by launching his own YouTube channel and other social media platforms, where he began sharing his original compositions. Also, Sisan Bania (a Nepali YouTuber) had a lot to do with Neetesh’s musical career as he highly motivated Neetesh to upload songs on his YouTube channel. His debut homemade track, “Guffai Ta Ho”, released on April 17, 2016, marked the beginning of his solo career. Since then, he has released a string of hit songs such as “Gedai Jasto Jindagi”, “Ashma”, “Hamro Nepal Ma”, “Pidit”, “Flirty Maya”, “Prathana”, “Nisthuri Mori”, “Saath Sadhaiko”, and “First Date”, among others.
