Storyline:

Bhagavanth Kesari is a middle-aged man who becomes the guardian of Vijayalakshmi “Viji” after her father, CI Srikanth’s sudden demise in an accident. Bhagavanth wants Viji to join the Indian Army as per Srikanth’s wish, but Viji is against the decision, stemming from a phobia from her childhood. Viji soon falls in trouble due to a conspiracy by a business magnate and Bhagavanth’s past rival, Rahul Sanghvi. Bhagavanth soon locks horns with Sanghvi and sets out to motivate Viji to become stronger and eventually join the Army.

Bhagavanth Kesari is a Telugu action drama film written and directed by Anil Ravipudi and produced by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi, under the banner of Shine Screens. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna in the titular role alongside Sreeleela, Arjun Rampal (in his Telugu debut), and Kajal Aggarwal. The soundtrack and background score was composed by Thaman S, while C. Ramprasad and Tammiraju handled the cinematography and editing, respectively.

The teaser has been launched with the poster on June 10, 2023, on the eve of Balakrishna’s birthday. The first look of the heroine Kajal Aggarwal is out on her birthday June 19, 2023.

The first single titled “Ganesh Anthem” was released on September 1, 2023.

Bhagavanth Kesar was theatrically released on October 19, 2023, for the occasion of Dasara, along with Ravi Teja’s Tiger Nageswara Rao, and Vijay’s Leo. The film opened to positive reviews from critics.

Amazon Prime Video brought the film’s digital streaming rights, while Zee Network brought the satellite rights in all languages. The film was premiered on Amazon Prime Video on 24 November 2023 in Telugu, along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
