Consecration Movie (2023):
Consecration is a horror thriller film directed by Cristopher Smith, which he co-wrote with Laurie Cook. The film stars Jena Malone, Danny Huston, Janet Suzman, Thoren Ferguson, Will Keen, and Ian Pirie. It is shot in Scotland on the Isle of Skye.
The story follows Grace, an American woman, who arrives at a convent on the Isle of Skye looking to find out the truth about her Priest brother’s death, but discovers that he was himself also a suspect in a murder investigation.
Consecration was released on February 10, 2023, in the United States. The film will have its United Kingdom premiere at the 2023 Glasgow Film Festival.

Grace (Jena Malone), a young eye doctor, is summoned to a remote convent in Scotland after the alleged suicide of her priest brother. Distrusting the Church’s account, Grace tries to find out what really happened with the help of Vatican priest Father Romero (Danny Huston). As she explores the convent’s sepulchral cloisters, and the wild cliffs and windswept beaches nearby, she uncovers not only murder and sacrilege, but a disturbing truth about her own past which brings long-buried trauma to the surface.
