About Double iSmart Movie:
Double iSmart is an upcoming Telugu action science fiction film starring Ram Pothineni, Sanjay Dutt, and Kavya Thapar in lead roles. It was written and directed by Puri Jagannadh, who co-produced the film with Charmme Kaur.
Double iSmart is a sequel film to the 2019 film iSmart Shankar.
The film was officially announced through a Muhurtham pooja ceremony, in Hyderabad. Filming began on July 12, 2023. The First Schedule has been successfully concluded in Mumbai on July 31, 2023. The Second Schedule commenced in Thailand in August 2023.
The film was initially scheduled to release on 8 March 2024, on the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, but was later postponed. This may have been done to allow more time for promotions. The new release date is now 14 June 2024 with versions in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
