Ghaath Movie (2023):
Ghaath is an upcoming Marathi thriller drama film directed by Chhatrapal Ninawe, who co-wrote the film with Vikas Mudki. The film stars Jitendra Joshi, Milind Shinde, Janardan Kadam, Dhananjay Mandaokar, and Suruchi Adarkar. It is set in India’s forests, occupied by Maoist rebels, and revolves around the tense interplay between guerrillas, civilians, and the police.
Produced by Shiladitya Bora, Manish Mundra, Milapsinh Jadeja, and Sanyukta Gupta, the film’s music is composed by Madhur Padwal, while Udit Khurana served as cinematographer and Navnita Sen has done the editing.
It was nominated to compete for the Panorama Audience Award at the 73rd Berlin International Film Festival, where it had its world premiere on 18 February 2023. Ghaath is expected to be released in Indian cinemas in 2023.
