Storyline:

About Shaitaan Movie:
Shaitaan is a Hindi horror thriller film directed by Vikas Bahl and starring Ajay Devgn, R. Madhavan, Jyotika, Janki Bodiwala, and Aangad Maaholay. The film’s music is composed by Amit Trivedi.
It is a remake of the 2023 Gujarati film ‘Vash‘ which was directed by Krishnadev Yagnik.
The film’s working title was Black Magic. Filming began in June 2023 and completed in September 2023.
After a hiatus of 25 years, Jyotika makes a comeback to Hindi cinema in this film. Her previous Hindi film is ‘Doli Saja Ke Rakhna’ (1997) which is also her acting debut movie. Jyotika’s last appearance in a Hindi movie was in the 2001 film ‘Little John,’ a multilingual production made in Tamil, Hindi, and English.
Ajay Devgn is presently engaged in the filming of ‘Raid 2’. Besides Shaitan, Devgn also has the fifth installment of Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe titled ‘Singham Again‘ in the pipeline.
The film marks the Bollywood debut of Janki Bodiwala.
The teaser of the film was released on January 25, 2024 by JioStudios.
Shaitaan was theatrically released on 8 March 2024, coinciding with Maha Shivaratri, and received positive reviews from critics with praise for its acting, story, and technical aspects.
The film was premiered on Netflix from 4 May 2024.
