Storyline:

A skilled Special Forces commando (Jessica Alba) takes ownership of her father’s bar after he suddenly dies, and soon finds herself at odds with a violent gang running rampant in her hometown.

Trigger Warning is an upcoming American action thriller film starring Jessica Alba, Anthony Michael Hall, Mark Webber, Tone Bell, Jake Weary, and Gabriel Basso. It was directed by Mouly Surya and written by Halley Gross, Josh Olson, and John Brancato.

Thunder Road Films initially acquired the rights to the film in June 2016, with Josh Olson and John Brancato set to pen the spec script. Netflix subsequently acquired the film rights in May 2020.

On September 2, 2021, filming was set to start in New Mexico in the fall of 2021. On October 1, 2021, crew member James Saul was hospitalized because a snapped cable hit and broke Saul’s leg.

Trigger Warning is scheduled to be released by Netflix on June 21, 2024.
