Storyline:

As Bheema Bharti runs a proxy government from prison, CM Rani Bharti is accused of misgovernance while Bihar fights anti-incumbency, jungle raj, and corruption. Lawlessness has gripped the state of Bihar and the opposition holds Rani responsible for the state’s ‘jungle raj’.

Facing a constant turmoil of opposition from her own party and dealing with a husband and political enemies who are obstinately plotting to overthrow her government, she is forced to make some moves that will disrupt the whole political scenario. With elections right around the corner, will Rani’s acumen turn victorious, given her own husband is her greatest enemy?

Maharani (season 2) is a Hindi political drama web series created by Subhash Kapoor and directed by Ravindra Gautam with Huma Qureshi portraying the title character along with Sohum Shah, Amit Sial, and Kani Kusruti.

The teaser of the second season was launched on 16 July 2022 and the trailer was released on 1 August 2022.

Maharani S2, Episode 1 - Jungle Raj

Bihar is in a state of anarchy, and Bheema runs a proxy government from behind bars. The opposition brands Rani's rule "Jungle Raj '' and demands her resignation in response to a tragic crime that occurs in Bihar.

Maharani S2, Episode 2 - Daagi Bane Baagi

The legislators from Rani's own party turn against her as she seeks to remove the "Jungle Raj" in the state. Govardhan Das and Navin Kumar meet to decide their next course of action.

Maharani S2, Episode 3 - Vibhajan

Bheema is let out of jail and asks Rani to step down. Rani's political decision astounds both the opposition and her husband.

Maharani S2, Episode 4 - Ashirvaad

Rani plans to oppose Navin's political ploy. Bheema has the opportunity to further his political career in Bihar thanks to this political instability.

Maharani S2, Episode 5 - Vinashkale Viprite Buddhi

A bloody insurrection soon spreads across Bihar. Rani's heart is broken by an admission made by Prem Kumar, who is out on bail, on the personal front.
