Storyline:
Set at the Jongno branch of Yulje Medical Center, the series follows the hospital lives and turbulent friendships of young obstetrics and gynaecology residents who proudly enter the unpopular department in an era of low birth rates.
About Wise Resident Life TV Series:
Wise Resident Life (Korean: 언젠가는 슬기로울 전공의생활) is an upcoming South Korean medical comedy-drama television series directed by Lee Min-soo, written by Kim Song-hee and starring Go Youn-jung, Shin Si-a, Han Ye-ji, Kang You-seok, and Jung Joon-won. Actress Han Ye-ji will make her debut through Wise Resident Life.
It is a spin-off of the 2020–2021 series Hospital Playlist, and depicts the life and friendship of university hospital professors and doctors. Filming for the series began in October 2023.
Wise Resident Life is scheduled for release on tvN in the first half of 2024. It will also be available for streaming on Netflix in selected regions.
