Action suspense thriller ‘Yodha‘, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani, and Raashii Khanna, has made its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video. Directed by debutant directors Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha, the film follows the story of Arun Katyal, played by Sidharth Malhotra, a task force officer who faces a high-stakes challenge when an international flight is hijacked. As he races against time to save the passengers and protect his reputation, he must navigate a web of deception and danger.

Yodha was theatrically released on March 15, 2024, and underperformed at the box office, earning ₹53 crore against a budget of ₹55 crore. The film received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising Sidharth Malhotra’s performance while others criticized the film’s handling of the Kashmir issue and terrorism.

Yodha premiered on Amazon Prime Video on May 10, 2024, the 8-week gap between the release of the film in theaters and OTT platforms.

Yodha is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video but with a twist. Viewers will need to rent the movie to watch it, as it is not available for free streaming at the moment. The rental fee is set at ₹349. Once the rental fee is paid, Prime Video subscribers are granted a 30-day window to initiate the viewing process. Once the playback has started, viewers must complete the movie within the subsequent 48 hours.

Yodha Background and Plot:

Inspired by his father, Surender Katyal, Arun Katyal is a dedicated member of Yodha, a special task group funded by the Indian government that specializes in fatal rescue operations. The film explores the tension and sacrifices that come with such a demanding and perilous job, delving into themes of duty, bravery, and personal sacrifice.
